Apple iPhone 17 Pro Upgrades: 48MP Camera, Aluminium Frame, A19 Pro Chip Likely Coming

Six months away from September, yet the grapevine doesn’t stop flowing when it comes to the Apple iPhone 17 series. Even though there is still time for the most awaited tech event of the year—Apple iPhone launch—there have been rumours aplenty regarding the upcoming premium iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max smartphones.

Apple’s next-generation A19 Pro processor, which is anticipated to be produced using TSMC’s recent third-generation 3nm technology, is anticipated to be used in all iPhone 17 Pro variants. This is expected to translate into performance improvements and battery efficiency over the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max.

While all the models from the iPhone X range through the iPhone 14 Pro have a stainless steel frame, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro phones boast titanium frames. Rumour has it that the iPhone 17 Pro models will get a 48MP telephoto shooter instead of the 12MP one found on the iPhone 16 Pro models.

All four iPhone 17 models are anticipated to get an upgraded front camera over the iPhone 16 models, which come with a 12MP selfie camera. The iPhone 17 is expected to pack a 24MP camera.

While iPhone 16 versions have 8GB RAM, as AI features increase, they are bound to demand more.
