Do you have an iPhone, but are not satisfied with the battery life? The perfect match for you could be the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro Max. If leaks are to be believed, this iPhone will set a new record for battery life.
A report from 9to5Mac notes that Apple is going to make the iPhone 17 Pro Max thicker. Why? So, they could fit a much larger battery inside. You can clearly see what the goal is here — beat the already impressive 33-hour video playback of the iPhone 16 Pro Max. Comparatively, the iPhone 15 Pro Max would last approximately 29 hours. So, it seems that Apple is slowly but steadily upgrading the battery life, and this year would be a big leap forward toward the goal.
While there's a huge buzz about the iPhone 17 Air, it looks like the iPhone Pro Max will follow the other way — bigger, heavier and powerful. Some leaks even say that it could get a new name — iPhone 17 Ultra, same as the Apple Watch Ultra.
Design changes are also in the menu. It could come with a 6.9-inch display, but the back might be different from usual. Apple could mix aluminium and glass to make the new iPhone stronger and also support wireless charging. Even the camera bump might experience a whole new makeover by moving to a larger, rectangular shape, maybe even lining the lenses horizontally, something Apple hasn't done before.
Under the hood, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to get the powerful new A19 Pro chip, 12GB RAM, and better cooling to handle intense use. On the camera front, we could see three 48MP lenses covering all angles — wide, ultra-wide, and telephoto — and even 8K video recording.
Looks like Apple is preparing something big, in every sense of the word.
