Apple iPhone 17 Price, Camera, Display, Features: Know What Is Expected

Some months back, we got familiar with the iPhone 16 lineup, but it seems like Apple is again ready to surprise us with the new iPhone 17 lineup during its Fall event. Let’s see what’s likely in store for buyers when the iPhone 17 actually lands in the market.

So far, there has not been any authorized information regarding the price, but multiple reports have it that the iPhone 17 series is expected to range from high to extremely pricey. And that means iPhone 17 price is likely to get a hike from what the iPhone 16 series was rolled out at. It was widely expected that Apple would hike prices of iPhone 16 on launch, but it was actually rolled out at $799, which is approximately Rs 79,990. But now, Tom's Guide reports that Apple will have to effect a price hike in the upcoming iPhone series due to various reasons including jump in rates of raw materials as well as a jump in technology, including AI.

Will Apple actually hike iPhone 17 price? While it is too early to say, one thing is clear that Apple will have to weigh its options and its rivals capabilities and then decide the final price. The lineup is expected to include four models: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and the new iPhone 17 Air or iPhone 17 Slim. The Air model may may even surpass the iPhone 17 Pro Max price.

And the iPhone 17 Plus may not see the light of day.

Photography lovers might have something really good to chew on with the iPhone 17. Apple may be developing a 24-megapixel front camera with an advanced lens for sharper selfies along with delivering better images even in low-light conditions. In the Pro Max model things are expected to get even better. Expectations are for a 48-megapixel telephoto camera.

The iPhone 17 series could come with a new thinner form factor, especially with the iPhone 17 Air, which could feature a 6.6-inch screen and a wafer-thin body - thinner than even 6mm - hence the chances of it becoming the most expensive iPhone ever. Apple may also take to ProMotion technology for rendering better graphics, with a refresh rate of 120Hz. An improved anti-reflective coating may well be part of the package too.

The iPhone 17 is expected to house the first Apple Wi-Fi 7 chip, an improved battery life, a redesigned Dynamic Island, and increased protection against scratches.

With Samsung Galaxy S25 set to launch on Jan. 22 with some outstanding specs and features, Apple will have its job cut out to try and keep this big rival, along with all the Chinese manufacturers at bay.
