The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 comes to an end on Tuesday, with a high-stakes battle between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings. Both teams are eyeing their maiden title.

RCB and their talisman Virat Kohli have had a terrific season and will look to put an end to their two-decade-long wait for the IPL trophy. Their opponents on Tuesday are Punjab Kings, a team which is powered by exciting batting talent. The IPL final 2025 is scheduled to take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

RCB have reached an IPL final for the fourth time after 2009, 2011 and 2016. Punjab Kings, meanwhile, last reached this stage in 2014.

Shreyas Iyer, who played an innings to remember in the Qualifier against Mumbai Indians, has reached his second successive IPL final as captain after he led Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to victory in 2024. Iyer also took Delhi Capitals to the final in 2020.

A key player to watch out for during tonight's game is Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood of RCB. He is a strong contender for the Purple Cap, given to the bowler with the most wickets in an IPL season.
