HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd. is among more than 100 companies set to announce their June quarter (Q1) earnings for FY26 this week. The insurance player has scheduled a Board Meeting, following which its performance for the April-June period will be disclosed.

An earnings call with analysts and investors will also follow the announcement of the Q1 results. A leading player in the life insurance sector, Mumbai-based HDFC Life commands a market share of over 11%. Its total assets under management (AUM) stood at Rs 3.36 lakh as of March 2025.

On July 1, HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd. informed the stock exchanges that a meeting of its Board of Directors is scheduled on July 15 to consider and approve the unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025.

Ahead of the announcement of their quarterly results, listed companies are mandated by the market regulator SEBI to close their trading window for designated persons of the companies, such as promoters and directors. This move is aimed at ensuring compliance with the prevention of insider trading norms.

As a result, HDFC Life Insurance Company has also announced the closure of its trading window from July 1 to July 17 for the designated persons, in compliance with SEBI guidelines on insider trading.

The life insurance stock has dropped nearly 4% in the last five trading sessions on the NSE. Over the past month, shares of the company have dropped by 1.68%. However, the stock has rallied 26.17% in the last six months, while rising 18.74% over the past year. Year-to-date, the stock has advanced 22.75%.

The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 820.75 apiece on the NSE on June 30, 2025. Shares of HDFC Life hit a 52-week low of Rs 584.3 apiece on the NSE on January 15.

HDFC Life shares were trading 0.24% lower at Rs 757.20 apiece as of 9:25 a.m. on Monday. This compares to a 0.35% drop in the benchmark Nifty 50.
