Britannia Industries Ltd. recommended a final dividend of Rs 75 per share at a face value of Rs 1 each for the financial year ended March 31, 2025.
The company has scheduled its 106th Annual General Meeting on Aug. 11, 2025, and if dividend declared, then it will be distributed within the legally prescribed timelines, according to an exchange filing on Thursday.
Britannia Industries Q4 Performance
Britannia Industries recorded a 4% year-over-year increase in consolidated profit for the quarter ending March 31, 2025, surpassing analysts' expectations.
The Marie Gold biscuit-maker reported a profit of Rs 560 crore for the March quarter. This exceeded the Rs 513 crore consensus estimate of analysts tracked by Bloomberg.
Shares of Britannia closed 0.75% higher at Rs 5,391 apiece on the NSE, compared to a 0.58% fall in the benchmark Nifty. The stock has risen 3.11% in the last 12 months and 13.19% on a year-to-date basis.
Out of 39 analysts tracking the company, 23 have a 'buy' rating on the stock, nine recommand 'hold' and seven gave 'sell' rating according to Bloomberg data. The average of 12-month analysts' price target implies a potential downside of 1.2%.
