Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport on Wednesday advised passengers to look for "alternate arrangements" due to the high likelihood of lack of app-based transport.

It said in a post on 'X' that passengers should plan their transportation in advance before reaching the airport and consider alternate modes of transportation.

This is due to recent strike called by cab drivers over the policies involving high commission rates charged by cab aggregators. The drivers said that apps like Uber and Ola deduct a significant portion of the fare.

Meanwhile, driver union leaders were scheduled to meet with representatives from Ola and Uber at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday to discuss the situation

The strike was launched by the drivers on July 15, with Wednesday being the second day of the protest.
