Shares of Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd. surged 4.70% on Friday after the company posted a strong set of numbers for the first quarter of FY26.
For the quarter ended June 30, 2025, WRTL reported revenue from operations of Rs 603.19 crore, marking a 26.5% sequential increase and a staggering 156% rise compared to the same period last year. The company’s net profit after tax stood at Rs 86.39 crore, more than tripling from Rs 28.16 crore in Q1 FY25.
Total income for the quarter reached Rs 608.02 crore, which included Rs 4.83 crore in other income. The company maintained disciplined cost control, with EPC contract expenses at Rs 470.02 crore and employee benefit costs at Rs 9.35 crore. Finance and depreciation expenses were reported at Rs 3.56 crore and Rs 2.23 crore, respectively.
The scrip rose as much as 4.70% to Rs 1,240 apiece. It pared gains to trade 2.14% higher at Rs 1,209 apiece, as of 11:27 a.m. This compares to a 0.55% decline in the NSE Nifty 50 Index.
It has risen 41.28% in the last 12 months. Total traded volume so far in the day stood at 5.6 times its 30-day average. The relative strength index was at 76.
