Nifty 50 Top Gainers, Losers On June 30: Trent, SBI, IndusInd, Bharat Electronics

Trent Ltd., SBI, IndusInd Bank, Bharat Electronics Ltd., Shriram Finance were among the top gainers on the NSE Nifty 50 on Monday.

Tata Consumer Ltd., Axis Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank were the top losers in trade for the day.

Trent closed higher with the most gains among the lot of 3.29%. Shares of SBI closed 1.86% higher while IndusInd Bank also marked gains. The scrip closed 1.78% higher. The shares of Bharat Electronics and Shriram Finance also closed with gains over 1%.

Tata Consumer closed with the deepest losses among the lot with 2.26% decline. Axis Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank also closed over 2% lower. Hero Motors and Maruti Suzuki were also among the names that closed in the red.

Indian benchmark equity indices closed with losses on Monday, led by share prices of Tata Consumer Ltd. and Axis Bank Ltd.

The NSE Nifty 50 ended 120.75 points, or 0.47% lower at 25,517.05, while the BSE Sensex closed 452.44 points, or 0.54% down at 83,606.46. During the day, Nifty fell 0.64% to trade at 25,473.30 and Sensex declined 0.69% to 83,482.13.
