Gold And Silver Price Today — Check Prices In Mumbai, Kolkata And Other Cities

The futures prices for the yellow metal on the Multi Commodity Exchange were up 0.06% to Rs 93,700 for the June 5 futures.

Gold price in India rose to Rs 94,070 per 10 grams as of 7 a.m. on May 14, according to the India Bullion Association. The rise comes amid easing tensions between India and Pakistan.

Rates in New Delhi also surged to Rs 93,730 per 10 grams, according to the association. The price in Mumbai was higher at Rs 93,900. In Kolkata, the rate was up to reach Rs 93,770. In Bengaluru gold was trading at Rs 93,970. While, in Chennai, the rate was the highest in the nation at Rs 94,170.

The futures prices for the yellow metal on the Multi Commodity Exchange were up 0.06% to Rs 93,700 for the June 5 futures. On Tuesday, futures had declined to Rs 92,860. The gold price had crossed the Rs 97,000 per 10-gram mark for the first time on the MCX in April, touching fresh highs.

Silver Price Today

Silver prices were at Rs 96,880 on Wednesday after crossing the Rs 1 lakh mark multiple times in the past couple of months, according to the India Bullion Association. Strong industrial demand for silver, fuelled by its importance in renewable energy technologies and electronics, has been driving the surge.

The futures prices for silver on the Multi Commodity Exchange were up 1.45% to Rs 96,730 for the July 4 futures.
