The BJP continues to widen its lead in the Lakhisarai Assembly seat as counting advances. Vijay Kumar Sinha now has 63,744 votes, accounting for 51.43%.
Congress candidate Amaresh Kumar has 45,940 votes, or 37.07%. Suraj Kumar of the JSP has 4,471 votes, while independent candidates Vijay Kumar and Vikash Kumar Jagnani have 2,029 and 972 votes respectively.
Further down the tally, Subodh Kumar Suman has 919 votes, Praval Kumar of the BSP has 714 and Uma Shankar Yadav has 703. Independent nominees Ramjee Mandal, Kusho Mahto of the BLCP, Abhishek Kumar, Amresh Prasad Singh and Amresh Kumar have each polled between 370 and 240 votes. NOTA has received 2,879 votes, or 2.32%.
A total of 1,23,938 valid votes have been counted so far.

The BJP continues to widen its lead in the Lakhisarai Assembly seat as counting advances. Vijay Kumar Sinha now has 48,449 votes, accounting for 51.99%.
Congress candidate Amaresh Kumar has 33,968 votes, or 36.45%. Suraj Kumar of the JSP has 3,327 votes, while independent candidates Vijay Kumar and Vikash Kumar Jagnani have 1,650 and 754 votes respectively.
Further down the tally, Subodh Kumar Suman has 630 votes, Praval Kumar of the BSP has 558 and Uma Shankar Yadav has 524. Independent nominees Ramjee Mandal, Kusho Mahto of the BLCP, Abhishek Kumar, Amresh Prasad Singh and Amresh Kumar have each polled between 252 and 176 votes. NOTA has received 2,261 votes, or 2.43%.
A total of 93,181 valid votes have been counted so far.

The BJP continues to widen its lead in the Lakhisarai Assembly seat as counting advances. Vijay Kumar Sinha now has 32,950 votes, accounting for 54.5%.
Congress candidate Amaresh Kumar has 22,098 votes, or 36.5%. Suraj Kumar of the JSP has 2,109 votes, while independent candidates Vijay Kumar and Vikash Kumar Jagnani have 1,108 and 480 votes respectively.
Further down the tally, Subodh Kumar Suman has 382 votes, Praval Kumar of the BSP has 348, and Uma Shankar Yadav has 328. Independent nominees Ramjee Mandal, Kusho Mahto of the BLCP, Abhishek Kumar, Amresh Prasad Singh and Amresh Kumar have each polled between 101 and 167 votes. NOTA has received 1,437 votes, or 2.3%.
A total of 60,468 valid votes have been counted so far.

The BJP has further widened its lead in the Lakhisarai Assembly seat as counting progresses. Vijay Kumar Sinha now has 24,914 votes, accounting for 52.8%.
Congress candidate Amaresh Kumar follows with 18,097 votes, or 38.4%. Suraj Kumar of the JSP has 1,579 votes, while independent candidates Vijay Kumar and Vikash Kumar Jagnani have 821 and 374 votes respectively.
Independent candidates Subodh Kumar Suman, Praval Kumar (BSP), Uma Shankar Yadav (VYP), Ramjee Mandal, Kusho Mahto (BLCP), Abhishek Kumar, Amresh Prasad Singh and Amresh Kumar are further down the tally. NOTA has received 1,140 votes, or 2.4%.
A total of 47,154 valid votes have been counted so far.

Jan Suraaj Bihar president Manoj Bharti on early trends showing NDA’s victory said, “We have been saying from the start that we are trying to bring new politics to Bihar. It is tough to take this politics to the people of Bihar. Prashant Kishor always said if people understood what we were saying, we would be on top; if they didn’t, we would fail. These trends show that people have failed to understand us, and we also failed to make them understand.”
The JSP is not leading on a single seat.

Lakhisarai Election Results 2025: BJP's Vijay Kumar Sinha Retakes Lead With Wider Margin
The Lakhisarai Assembly seat has seen another shift in the vote count, with BJP candidate Vijay Kumar Sinha regaining the lead after Congress briefly moved ahead earlier.
The latest figures show Vijay Kumar Sinha with 9,170 votes, or 49.7%, while Congress candidate Amaresh Kumar has 7,233 votes, or 39.2%. The BJP is now ahead by 1,937 votes.
Suraj Kumar of the JSP has 938 votes, followed by independents and other party candidates with smaller tallies. NOTA has registered 462 votes, accounting for 2.4%.
A total of 18,450 valid votes have been counted so far.

Lakhisarai Election Results 2025: Congress Overtakes BJP In Latest Count
The Lakhisarai Assembly seat has seen a shift in the lead. Earlier trends showed BJP candidate Vijay Kumar Sinha ahead, but the latest numbers now place Congress candidate Amaresh Kumar in front.
The updated tally shows Amaresh Kumar with 2,852 votes, or 44.3%, while Vijay Kumar Sinha has 2,773 votes, or 43.1%. Congress currently leads by 79 votes.
Suraj Kumar of the JSP has 383 votes, followed by independent candidates and other party nominees with smaller tallies. NOTA has received 157 votes, accounting for 2.4%.
A total of 6,438 valid votes have been counted so far.

Polling for the Bihar Assembly election took place in two phases, with 121 constituencies voting on Nov. 6, and 122 constituencies voting on Nov. 11, 2025. Munger voted on Nov. 6.
Bihar went to the polls as Chief Minister Nitish Kumar sought another term with the Janata Dal (United) as part of the National Democratic Alliance led by the Bharatiya Janata Party. The INDIA alliance, the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance, which includes the Rashtriya Janata Dal and the Congress, contested against the NDA across the state.
