Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. announced that its nodal training institute, HAL Management Academy, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Defence Institute of Advanced Technology to bridge the gap between industry and academia.
This MoU with DIAT also aims to promote cutting-edge research and advance technological innovations in the aerospace sector.
As part of this collaboration, HAL executives will have the chance to pursue master's and PhD programmes at DIAT, engage in specialised capsule modules on emerging technologies, and participate in faculty and student exchange programmes, according to the company's release.
The MoU also paves the way for joint conferences, seminars and collaborative research projects aimed at strengthening India's defence and aviation capabilities.
This strategic collaboration is set to drive innovation, accelerate skill development and create a robust ecosystem for next-generation aerospace solutions, reinforcing India's position as a global leader in aviation and defence technology, it added.
