Gopal Snacks Ltd.'s board of directors approved on Monday the appointment of Rigan Hasmukhrai Raithatha as the new chief financial officer, according to an exchange filing.
Raithatha has completed his bachelor's degree in commerce from MP Shah Commerce College in Gujarat. He has experience in the field of accounting and finance, and worked with companies like CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd., Adani Group, Nayara Energy Ltd. and Reliance Industries Ltd., it said.
The snacks manufacturer has reappointed Mayur Popatbhai Gangani as the secretary and compliance officer of the company. Gangani holds more than 17 years of experience in secretarial, legal, compliance and corporate matters, the company added.
Shares of Gopal Snacks closed 1.41% lower at Rs 257.85 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, compared to a 0.5% rise in the benchmark Nifty. The stock has fallen 30.15% in the last 12 months.
Three analysts tracking the company have a 'buy' rating on the stock, according to Bloomberg data. The average of 12-month analysts' price targets implies a potential upside of 93.9%.
