Bajaj Auto Two-Wheeler Sales Fall 6% On Higher Base
Bajaj Auto Ltd.'s two-wheeler dispatches to dealerships fell 6% year-on-year to 3,27,712 units in September on a higher base of last year.
In the same month last year, the company raised dispatches to build-up dealer inventory after a severe shortage of semiconductors depleted its channel inventory in the earlier months.

Ashok Leyland's Sales Rise On Higher Heavy Duty Vehicle Dispatches
Ashok Leyland Ltd.'s total dispatches to dealerships rose 9% year-on-year to 19,202 units in September as strong growth momentum continued in the medium and heavy commercial vehicle segment.

Total M&HCV sales rose 13% to 12,752 units.
Light commercial vehicle sales rose 3% to 6,450 units.
Domestic sales rose 10% to 18,193 units.
Hero MotoCorp's Sales Rise 3%, Beat Estimates
Hero MotoCorp Ltd.'s total two-wheeler dispatches to dealerships rose 3.2% to 5,36,499 units in September, beating analysts' estimates of flat or a decline in sales.

Sales of motorcycles rose 3% to 4,94,270 units.
Sales of scooters rose 6% to 42,229 units.
Domestic sales rose 2.4% to 5,19,789 units.
Exports rose 36% to 16,710 units.
TVS Motor's Two-Wheeler Dispatches Rise 7%
TVS Motor Co Ltd.'s total two-wheeler dispatches to dealerships rose 7% year-on-year to 3.62 lakh units in September as sales grew in both domestic and overseas markets.
The company sold 20,356 units of iQube electric scooter in the month, as compared with 4,923 units last year.

Domestic two-wheeler sales rose 6% to 3 lakh units.

Tata Motors Ltd.'s total dispatches to dealerships rose 2% to 82,023 units driven by the higher commercial vehicle sales.

Eicher Motors Ltd.'s subsidiary VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd.'s dispatches to dealerships rose 8.6% to 7,198 units in September.

Domestic sales rise 12% to 6,715 units.
Exports fall 51% to 250 units.
Maruti Suzuki's Dispatches Rise 3% On Higher Utility Vehicle Sales
Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.'s overall dispatches to dealerships rose 3% year-on-year to 1,81,343 units driven by higher utility vehicle sales.
However, the sales in the mini and compact segment fell 22.5% to 78,903 units.

Hyundai Motor's Sales Rise 13% As Exports Jump
Hyundai Motor India Ltd.'s passenger vehicle dispatches to dealerships rose 13% year-on-year to 71,641 units, its highest-ever sales in a month.
The festival season gave a boost to the domestic sales, while the higher number of dispatches in the overseas markets lifted the overall tally.

Domestic sales rose 9% to 54,241 units.
Exports rose 29% to 17,400 units.
M&M Passenger Vehicle Sales Continue To Scale Records
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.'s passenger vehicle dispatches rose 20% year-on-year to 41,267 units, making it the third consecutive month of highest-ever monthly sales.
"While demand for our key SUV brands continue to be strong, we are keeping a close watch on the availability of semi-conductors and select components to meet the strong festive season demand,” Veejay Nakra, president of the automotive division at M&M, said in a statement.

Sales of medium duty light commercial vehicles rose 15% to 18,917 units.
Three-wheeler sales rose 37% to 7,921 units.
Tractor sales fell 11% to 43,210 units.
Tractor exports fell 27% to 1,176 units.
The tractor sales fell due to delayed and uneven monsoons in certain regions and on a higher base of last year.
"Normal rains in September have helped overall monsoon to achieve near normal levels and this will help in Rabi sowing, especially in Central, Northern and Western regions of the country," Hemant Sikka, president of Farm Equipment Sector at the company, said in a release.
Auto Sales Preview
Indian automakers are announcing their September sales figures on Sunday.
Auto dispatches to dealerships may have grown across segments in September as festival season continued to spur demand and automakers looked to build up inventory.
In the passenger vehicle segment due to better supply of vehicles, while two-wheeler makers may see their sales either fall or remain flat in the month, according to an average of estimates from three brokerages.
The higher sales in the medium and heavy commercial vehicle segment continued to lift commercial vehicle dispatches, while The tractor sales in the country fell heavily in the month as compared to last year, as delayed and uneven monsoons hit buyer sentiments.
