Adani Green Energy Ltd. on Wednesday said its total operational renewable generation capacity has increased to 14,528.4 MW through an exchange filing.
This comes after Adani Renewable Energy Fifty Seven Ltd., a wholly owned step-down subsidiary of the company, operationalised solar power project of 187.5 MW at Khavda, Gujarat.
With this addition, Adani Green Energy's total operational renewable energy generation capacity has increased to 14,528.4 MW.
India Ratings and Research earlier this month affirmed Adani Green Energy's credit rating at ‘IND AA-’ with a 'stable' outlook and resolved the rating watch with negative implications.
The resolution follows the successful refinancing for Rs 8,900 crore that was due on March 31, 2025, and was executed before the due date, "demonstrating AGEL’s ability to raise capital and access to funding channels", the agency said.
The agency noted Adani Green's strong execution with a capacity addition of 3.3 gigawatts during fiscal 2025 and an additional 1 GW likely by May 15, resulting in an operating capacity of around 15 GW.
Adani Green Energy Shares Advance
Shares of Adani Green Energy rose as much as 1.94% to Rs 1,003 apiece, the highest level since May 20. It pared gains to trade 1.02% higher at Rs 993.90 apiece, as of 11:30 a.m. This compares to a 0.77% advance in the NSE Nifty 50. The relative strength index was at 57.8. above 70 overbought or below 30 is oversold.
Out of seven analysts tracking the company, six maintain a 'buy' rating and one suggests 'sell', according to Bloomberg data. The average 12-month consensus price target implies an upside of 23.7%.
