Adani Energy Solutions Ltd. has secured transmission orders worth nearly Rs 44,000 crore, Gautam Adani, Chairman of Adani Enterprises, said during the 37th annual general meeting of the company.
"Adani Energy Solutions secured close to Rs 44,000 crore in transmission orders and is executing Rs 13,600 crore worth of smart metering projects," stated Adani.
Adani also discussed the group's financial performance, noting, "In terms of consolidated numbers, at the Group level, revenues grew by 7%, Ebitda by 8.2%, and our Net Debt-to-Ebitda ratio remained healthy at 2.6x." The total revenues for the group were Rs 2,71,664 crore, with an adjusted Ebitda of Rs 89,806 crore.
During his address to the shareholders at the group's annual general meeting, Adani also said that even in the face of the storms and relentless scrutiny, the Adani Group has never backed down. Instead, the group proved that "true leadership is not built in sunshine. It is constructed in the fire of crisis".
Highlighting the group's investment plans, Adani said, "Our capital investment across businesses is set to break all records. We anticipate an annual Capex spend of $15–20 billion for the next 5 years. These are not just investments in our Group, but investments in the possibilities for doing our part to build India’s infrastructure."
In last year's AGM of the company, Adani mentioned, "Adani Energy Solutions continued to commission the much-needed critical transmission infrastructure, including two 765 kV lines. Our transmission order book stands at Rs 17,000 crore, and our smart metering order book has expanded to 228 lakh units."
