An explosion at a training center for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has killed at least three deputies, according to Attorney General Pam Bondi.
In a post on X, Bondi described it as an “horrific incident” and said that federal agents are on the scene investigating.
The blast occurred Friday morning at 7:27 a.m. local time, television station KTLA reported, attributing the information to a sheriff spokesman. The cause of the explosion hasn’t yet been disclosed.
