UPSC CSE 2024 Final Result Expected Soon; Where And How To Check Results Online

The final results of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024 are set to be declared by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) soon.

The personality round of the prestigious civil services exam was held earlier this year. Candidates who qualify the round will get selected into different central services such as the Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Indian Police Service (IPS), and other central services.

Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their results on the official website - upsc.gov.in.

The UPSC has not announced any particular date and time for the release of CSE 2024 results. Based on past trends, the final results are declared a few weeks after the interview round is over.

The UPSC CSE 2024 final result will include the roll numbers and names of the selected candidates. The merit list of recommended candidates, based on their performance in the Mains exam and Personality Test, will also be posted by UPSC. Candidates can check the results on upsc.gov.in by following this simple procedure:

• Go to upsc.gov.in and click on the “What’s New" section.

• Look for “UPSC Civil Services Final Result 2024" and click on the link.

• Download the PDF or open it in a new window to search for your roll number/name.

The Commission will announce the cutoff marks for UPSC CSE IAS 2024-25 after the results are out. The UPSC Toppers’ Marks 2024 will be released alongside the cutoff marks as well.

Candidates who achieved the cutoff marks will be allotted service and cadre on the basis of their rank, preference, and availability of the position. The official marks of all candidates will be released by UPSC a few days after the final results are published. This includes both recommended and non-recommended aspirants.

The UPSC CSE exam consists of three stages- Prelims, Mains and a Personality Test round. The results of last year’s CSE exam were released in April, which has led to expectations that this year’s results will be out soon. UPSC had conducted the interviews for the final selection from January 7 to April 17. The Commission will select 1,132 candidates for IAS, IPS and other services via this year’s recruitment drive.
