Actor Shah Rukh Khan was hospitalised in Ahmedabad after his health deteriorated on Wednesday. The Bollywood superstar was admitted to multi-speciality K D Hospital, PTI reported quoting police officials.
"Actor Shah Rukh Khan was admitted to K D Hospital after suffering from a heat stroke," Ahmedabad (Rural) Superintendent of Police Om Prakash Jat said, according to the news agency.
SRK was reportedly discharged from the hospital after receiving primary treatment. No official update regarding the actor’s health has been released so far.
The actor along with his children attended the Indian Premier League Qualifier match between the Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday.
On Monday, SRK stepped out to cast his vote in the fifth phase of the Lok Sabha Elections in Mumbai. The 'Jawan' actor, with wife Gauri, son Aryan, daughter Suhana and younger son AbRam were photographed entering a polling station in Bandra.
