The SBI PO prelims exam results 2025 will be prepared following the normalisation process to ensure fair evaluation of candidates' performance based on varying difficulty levels across exam slots. As the SBI PO exam is held in multiple shifts, the topics, question types, and difficulty levels can vary across sessions. To ensure fairness in evaluating candidates, SBI employs the equi-percentile method, which standardises scores across different slots for a balanced and accurate assessment.

Currently, the initial basic pay for an SBI PO is Rs 41,960, which includes four advance increments. The pay scale is structured as Rs 36,000-1490/7-46,430-1740/2-49,910-1990/7-63,840, and the position falls under the Junior Management Grade Scale-I category. In addition to the basic pay, officers are entitled to allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) or lease rental, City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), medical benefits, and other perks as per prevailing rules.

The in-hand salary generally ranges between Rs 52,000 and Rs 55,000 per month. The annual gross compensation is approximately between Rs 8.20 lakh and Rs 13.08 lakh, depending on the location of posting and other contributing factors.
