Salman Khan-starrer 'Sikandar' has collected Rs 105.89 crore at the worldwide box office in two days, the makers announced on Tuesday. Khan's latest Eid release earned Rs 54.72 crore on the occasion of Eid on March 31, recording a slightly better performance compared to its opening day on Mar. 30.
The film directed by A R Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his production banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment features Rashmika Mandanna as lead actress. Other prominent actors include Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Smita Patil.
Sikandar is Salman's first film in two years that was released on the festival of Eid. His last film was Tiger 3, which came out around Diwali in 2023.
The production banner shared the box office collection on the X handle.
"Eid was special, only because of your love! We're truly grateful! Watch #Sikandar in your nearest cinemas TODAY! Book your tickets NOW," read the caption.
The film poster had the box office numbers written over it.
'Sikandar' earned Rs 54.72 crore at the domestic box office on its opening day. The film collected Rs 51.17 crore on its second day. The total collection stands at Rs 105.89 crore.
Over the years, his Eid releases, including Wanted, Dabangg, Bodyguard, Kick, Sultan, and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, consistently dominated the box office, drawing massive crowds to theatres. However, his last Eid film – Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (2023) – did not live up to the hype.
