At the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event on Jan. 22, the Samsung Galaxy S25 series is anticipated to make its debut, with the top-end model being the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
However, a day ahead of the anticipated launch, a tipster has claimed that the flagship Galaxy S25 Ultra might not be accessible globally after all and could be exclusively available in just four countries.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra To Be Available In Select Countries
A post on X (formerly Twitter) from tipster yawn (@chunvn8888) suggests that there are concerns about the broader accessibility of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra model. It is said to be limited to Asian markets and could only be offered for sale in India, China, South Korea, and Vietnam.
The tipster also indicated that the smartphone would come with 16GB of RAM. According to other reports, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be available in 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, 16GB RAM with 512GB storage, and 16GB RAM with 1TB UFS 4.1 storage options at launch. Additionally, depending on the customer’s region, Samsung could provide a free storage upgrade on pre-orders from 256GB to 512GB, according to rumours.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra: Expected Features And Specs
Qualcomm’s most advanced Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset is expected to power the Galaxy S25 Ultra, as well as the base Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus variants.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is anticipated to have a slightly larger 6.9-inch screen, as compared to the 6.17-inch and 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED displays for the Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus, respectively.
In addition to the 200MP primary camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 10MP telephoto shooter, the S25 Ultra is rumoured to have a new 50MP Ultrawide camera. It might pack features such as AI-powered audio eraser, log video, and more.

As per recent leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra could cost Rs 1,34,999 for 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, Rs 1,44,999 for 16GB RAM with 512GB storage, and Rs 1,64,999 for 16GB RAM with 1TB storage.
Notably, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to emerge as the biggest rival to iPhone 16 Pro Max and that especially applies to its artificial intelligence-enabled features. Samsung smartphones have been ahead of the curve so far on AI and the the upcoming one is expected to widen the gap even further.
