Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer iQOO's upcoming smartphone, the iQOO 15 Pro, may just have had its new design leaked ahead of launch, according to a post from Gizmochina citing noted tipster 'Digital Chat Station'.
According to the alleged iQOO 15 Pro leak, the handset may have a huge 6.85-inch 2K LTPO OLED display, which it is likely to source from Samsung, along with a low-temperature polycrystalline oxide technology. What this will do is boost display performance and make power management more efficient.
This information was also echoed by another tipster Smart Pikachu who had also mentioned that the iQOO smartphone would have a ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner and elements that facilitate improved protection for the user's eyes.
Moreover, it was also expected to use a battery of 7,000 mAh and a phone camera that contains a 'periscope telephoto' lens which can help a user zoom in more efficiently using mirrors and prisms without making the phone thicker.

According to leaks, the company may not be naming the upcoming smartphone iQOO 14 despite it succeeding the iQOO 13 series and instead, go for the iQOO 15 moniker. The reason behind it may well have to do with superstition. According to the Chinese belief the number 'four' is inauspicious and may invoke ill fortune.
However, there is nothing official about it as the company itself has not reacted to these reports. But most companies, including Google, Apple, Samsung, Nothing have been hit by leaks and these have often proved right in guessing what may be coming in terms of chip, camera, battery, display, storage, price and more.
