OpenAI's chatbot ChatGPT is currently down for many users worldwide. According to the outage tracking website Downdetector, people started reporting the issue around 1 pm.
"ChatGPT is unavailable for some users," reads a message on OpenAI's status page. The company said that it is working on a fix for the issue.

According to a report in The Indian Express, this is the second time, ChatGPT is facing an outage this year. In February this year, the chatbot suffered a massive outage globally for around 3 hours, the report said.
