India vs Bangladesh: Date, Time, Venue, Team News, Live Streaming And More About ICC Champions Trophy Match

India is set to kickstart their ICC Champions Trophy 2025 campaign against Bangladesh on Feb. 20. The key ICC tournament is making a comeback after a long hiatus of nearly eight years.

The tournament was last won by Pakistan in 2017. The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 opening match is scheduled to be played between hosts Pakistan and New Zealand on Feb. 19 in Karachi.

While Pakistan is the host nation, India will not be visiting the neighbouring country due to security concerns. As per the arrangement, India will play all their matches in Dubai including the knockout and final encounter if they manage to qualify. 

India is placed alongside New Zealand, Bangladesh, and Pakistan in Group A. England, Australia, Afghanistan and South Africa are part of Group B in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

India go into the game as overwhelming favourites as Bangladesh enter the tournament at the back of a long-struggling spell in the ODIs.

In Bumrah's absence, a rusty Mohammed Shami will lead India's pace attack including Harshit Rana and Arshdeep Singh.

Rana is unlikely to start in India's playing eleven in the Champions Trophy with Arshdeep Singh still considered way ahead in terms of talent and quality.

While Arshdeep enjoys a better economy rate of 5.17 compared to Harshit's 6.95 per over, it is the former's ability to bring the ball back into the right-handers during the Powerplay overs that will tilt the scales in his favour in the tournament.

Bangladesh will be without veteran all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and out of form batter Litton Das.

The India vs Bangladesh match will be played on Feb. 20 at Dubai International Stadium, Dubai. The toss will take place at 2:00 p.m., while the first ball in the match will be bowled at 2:30 p.m.
