Tata Technologies Q4 Results: Profit Beats Estimates, Announces Dividend Of Rs 11.7

Tata Technologies Ltd.'s net profit increased 12% for the quarter ended March 31, 2025, beating analysts' estimates.

The company's net profit rose to Rs 188.87 crore during the January-March period of fiscal 2025, according to an exchange filing on Friday. That compares with a consensus estimate of Rs 177.75 crore by analysts polled by Bloomberg.

Tata Tech Q4 FY25 Earnings Highlights (Consolidated, QoQ)

  • Revenue down 2.4% to Rs 1,285.65 crore versus Rs 1,317.38 crore (Bloomberg estimate: Rs 1,331.7 crore).

  • Net profit up 12% to Rs 188.87 crore versus Rs 168.64 crore (Bloomberg estimate: Rs 177.75 crore).

  • EBIT down 1% to Rs 202.26 crore versus Rs 203.58 crore (Bloomberg estimate: Rs 251.45 crore).

  • Margin at 15.7% versus 15.5% (Bloomberg estimate: 18.7%)

Dividend

Tata Technologies recommended a total dividend of Rs 11.70 per share at a face value of Rs 2 each for the financial year ended March 31, 2025.

The total dividend consisted of a final dividend and a special dividend of Rs 8.35 per share and Rs 3.35 apiece respectively. The dividend will be paid to the eligible shareholders within 30 days from the conclusion of the annual general meeting.

Shares of Tata Technologies closed 3.35% lower at Rs 693.20 apiece on the NSE, compared to a 0.86% fall in the benchmark Nifty 50. The stock has fallen by 35.15% in the last 12 months and 22.23% on year-to-date basis.

Out of 15 analysts tracking the company, four have 'buy' rating on the stock and 11 recommend 'sell', according to Bloomberg data. The average of 12-month analysts' price target implies a potential downside of 10.2%.
