The BSE board recommended payment of a special dividend of Rs 5 to commemorate the 150th year of BSE and a payment of Rs 18 as a regular dividend resulting into a final dividend of Rs 23 per equity share.

Q4 Results Live: Bank Of Baroda Asset Quality

On the subject of asset quality, Chand conveyed that the bank does not currently foresee any stress in its personal loan portfolio. He also indicated that the bank intends to grow its personal loan book in line with the overall retail loan book growth.

To optimize costs, management said that the bank will continue to raise infrastructure bonds. Chand said the bank's focus on ensuring better underwriting of loans.

Given the easing liquidity conditions, Chand expressed confidence that the bank can grow its total loan book by 1-2%. Specifically regarding the corporate loan segment, the bank aims to achieve a growth rate of around 10%.

On the earnings concall, Bank of Baroda's managing director and CEO Debadatta Chand stated that the bank hopes to operate its Net Interest Margin around 3%, but will provide proper guidance on this metric after June.

He anticipates experiencing NIM pressure in the first two quarters of the fiscal year 2026. However, Chand expects this pressure on the Net Interest Margin to subside in the second half of FY26.

Regarding the Supreme Court's judgement on the liquidation of Bhushan Power & Steel, he commented that the Committee of Creditors will take the right decision on the matter.

Q4 Results Live: Bank Of Baroda Seen Posting Rs 4,723 Crore Profit

Bank of Baroda is expected to report a net profit of Rs 4,723 crore and net interest income of Rs 11,689 crore for the fourth quarter according to Bloomberg consensus estimates. The net interest margin is projected at 2.95%.

The board will also consider a potential dividend for the financial year 2024-25. A media meet is scheduled for 3:00 PM today, followed by an analyst meet at 10:30 AM on Wednesday.
