The net profit of Gautam Adani-led Adani Energy Solutions nearly tripled to Rs 773.39 crore in the July-September quarter of FY25. The revenue also rose 68.3% to Rs 6,183.7 crore.

Adani Green Energy Ltd. reported a 39% year-on-year increase in net profit for Q2FY25 at Rs 515 crore as compared to Rs 371 crore in the same period last year.

• Revenue up 38% to Rs 3,055 crore vs Rs 2,220 crore

• Net profit increased 39% to Rs 515 crore vs Rs 371 crore

• Ebitda rose 30% to Rs 2,205 crore vs Rs 1,699 crore

The net profit of UltraTech cement tanked over 35% in the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2024. The cement maker posted a net profit of Rs 825 crore in Q2FY25, compared to Rs 1,280 crore in the same period a year ago.

UltraTech Cement Q2 Highlights (Consolidated, YoY)

• Revenue fell 2.4% to Rs 15,635 crore

• Net profit down 35.5% to Rs 825 crore. 

• Ebitda dipped 20.8% to Rs 2,019 crore 

• Margin at 12.9% versus 15.9% 

Hindustan Unilever: Hindustan Unilever Ltd.'s third-quarter profit rose 19.2% year-on-year, beating analysts’ expectations. The consolidated net profit of India's largest consumer goods maker increased to Rs 2,989 crore for the quarter ended December.

HDFC Bank: HDFC Bank Ltd. reported a 2.2% year-on-year increase in profit for the December quarter at Rs 16,736 crore. The bank's net interest income, or core income, grew 8% year-on-year to Rs 30,650 crore.
