Government-run power company NTPC Ltd. will declare its financial results at the end of this week, the company has informed the stock exchanges.
With a market cap of over Rs 3.1 lakh crore, NTPC generates and distributes electricity to State Electricity Boards in India. The company also provides consultancy services and takes turnkey project contracts, which include engineering, project management, construction management, and the operation and management of power plants.

NTPC Q3 Results: Date And Time
NTPC said that its board of directors will meet on Saturday, Jan. 25 to declare the financial results for the quarter that ended Dec. 31, 2024.
"It is hereby intimated that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled to be held at New Delhi on Saturday, 25th January 2025 to inter-alia, consider & approve the Unaudited Financial Results of the Company for the quarter and nine-months ended 31st December 2024 after these results are reviewed by the Audit Committee of the Board," the company said in a stock exchange filing dated Jan. 21.
NTPC Second Interim Dividend
As per the stock exchange filing, the company will also consider a "Declaration of Second Interim Dividend, if any, on the equity share capital of the Company for the Financial Year 2024-25."
NTPC will also hold a conference call on Jan. 25 where the company's senior management will discuss its Q3 results.
"We wish to inform that NTPC Ltd. will hold a conference call on January 25, 2025, wherein Senior Management team of NTPC Ltd. will discuss the Company's results for Q3 FY25 and interact with the Analysts and Investors," the company said.
NTPC Share Price History
Shares of NTPC Ltd. have dipped 1.36% over the last five trading sessions on the NSE. In the last month, the stock price has declined 3.54%, while over the past year, NTPC shares have climbed 6.36%.
As of 10:32 a.m. on Thursday, the company's shares were trading flat at Rs 322.25 apiece as compared to a 0.38% rise in benchmark NSE Nifty 50.
NTPC Q2 Results
NTPC reported a 0.6% year-on-year decline in consolidated revenue for Q2 FY25, totalling Rs 44,696 crore, slightly missing Bloomberg's estimate of Rs 47,007.3 crore. In contrast, net profit rose 13.8% YoY to Rs 5,380 crore. Ebitda fell 8% YoY to Rs 11,655 crore, with the Ebitda margin declining to 26.1% in Q2 from 28.2% in the same quarter a year ago.
