Nazara Technologies Ltd. is scheduled to release its financial statements for the quarter and nine months ending Dec. 31, 2024, this week. The company has business interests in mobile games, esports and sports media.

Founded by Nitish Mittersain in 1999, Nazara Technologies is behind video games like the World Cricket Championship (WCC) and CarromClash. It also owns sports news portals such as the Sportskeeda and Pro Football Network. The company has a total market capitalisation valued at over Rs 8,000 crore.

Nazara Technologies Ltd. is slated to release its financial statements for Q3 and the nine months ending Dec. 31, 2024, on Feb. 13 following a meeting of its board of directors. 

"We wish to inform you that the Meeting of the Board of Directors of Nazara Technologies Limited (the “Company”) is scheduled to be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, inter-alia to consider and approve the Unaudited (Consolidated and Standalone) Financial Results of the Company for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2024," the company said in an exchange filing on Feb. 4.

As per SEBI guidelines, the trading window for dealing in the securities of the company for designated persons and their immediate relatives shall remain suspended till 48 hours after the announcement of the outcome of the Board Meeting. 

The company has scheduled an earnings call at 9 a.m. on Feb 14 to discuss its financial performance with the analysts/investors. Nazara Tech's senior management including CEO and Joint Managing Director Nitish Mittersain and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Sudhir Kamth will represent the company during the call.

Shares of Nazara Technologies Ltd. have dropped nearly 5% over the past five trading sessions on the NSE. The stock price has climbed up by 3.5% in the last month but dipped nearly 3% in the past six months. Over the last year, shares of Nazara Technologies Ltd. have moved up by 6.5%. 

Nazara Technologies posted a 7.3% uptick in its revenue for operation in Q2 at Rs 318.9 crore in comparison to Rs 297.2 crore in the year-ago period. Profit, however, dipped to Rs 16.2 crore, marking a 32.8% decline from Rs 24.18 crore in the year-ago period. Ebitda slipped 9.8% YoY to Rs 25.2 crore from Rs 27.9 crore in the year-ago period. Ebitda margin shrunk to 7.9% from 9.4% in the year-ago period.
