ICICI Bank has recently launched the iShop portal to offer higher reward points and heavy discounts. Launched in February, the platform is meant to reward the users of ICICI Bank's credit card holders. Reward Points Available On ICICI Bank's iShop portal
Users of ICICI Bank credit cards can get 12x reward points for transactions involving hotel bookings on the iShop portal. Similarly, 6x reward points are available for flight bookings and buying gift vouchers. The exact amount of reward varies according to the card and what is used for buying.
Owners of the Emeralde Private Metal card can get 36% rewards for booking hotel accommodations on the portal. The same card earns 18% rewards for flight bookings and the purchase of gift vouchers.
Similarly, the Times Black credit card can earn 24% rewards for hotel bookings and 12% rewards for flight bookings and buying gift vouchers. The Emeralde credit card earns 12% rewards on hotel accommodations and 6% rewards on flight bookings and the buying of gift vouchers.
There are also monthly limits on the amount of rewards that can be earned on each of the credit cards. For example, users of the Emeralde Private Metal Credit Card can earn up to 18,000 rewards points per month. Times Black Credit Card owners can earn up to 15,000 reward points monthly.
The cap on accelerated rewards for Amazon and Flipkart vouchers is Rs 12,000 per month.
For flight bookings, 100% of the transaction value can be paid using reward points. In case of bookings for hotel accommodations, 90% of the amount can be paid via reward points. The corresponding figure for buying gift vouchers is 60%.
