Actively managed equity mutual funds recorded Rs 35,943 crore inflow during November, down 14% from the level recorded in October, Association of Mutual Funds in India data showed. Inflows into the sectoral and thematic category dipped for the second month in a row to Rs 7,657.7 crore, against Rs 12,278 crore worth of inflows last month.
Hybrid fund inflows declined to Rs 4,123.6 crore during the month under review, against Rs 16,863 crore a month ago.
Total inflows into the mutual fund industry stood at Rs 60,295 crore. The industry saw inflows worth Rs 2.4 lakh crore during the month of October.
Actively Managed Equity Funds
Large cap funds recorded an inflow of Rs 2,547.9 crore, against Rs 3,452 crore in October. The mid-cap category saw an inflow of Rs 4,883.4 crore, while the net flows into the category in the previous month was Rs 4,683 crore. The small-cap funds recorded a net inflow of Rs 4,111.8 crore, while the net inflows stood at Rs 3,772 crore in the previous month.
Flexi cap funds saw an inflow of Rs 5,084.1 crore while multi cap funds have seen inflows worth Rs 3,626 crore.
Inflows into the sectoral and thematic category stood at Rs 7,657.7 core. The category with the largest assets under management had recorded the largest inflows into actively managed equity. Inflows into this category during October stood at Rs 12,278 crore.
SIP Contribution
The SIP contribution stood at Rs 25,320 crore in November. The SIP contribution stood at Rs 25,322.74 crore in October 2024, against Rs 24,508.73 crore in September 2024.
Debt Funds
Debt funds recorded an inflow of Rs 12,915.9 crore in the month of November, against an inflow of Rs 1.57 lakh crore in October. Overnight funds recorded an inflow of Rs 2,019.3 core and liquid funds recorded an outflow of Rs 1,778.9 crore in November.

Hybrid And Passive Funds
Hybrid schemes saw inflows worth Rs 4,123.7 crore, against Rs 16,863 crore inflows recorded the previous month. The highest inflows in the category is from Multi asset allocation funds with inflow of Rs 2,443.8 crore, while arbitrage funds accounted for the most inflows the previous month.
In the passive fund category, inflows worth Rs 7,061.3 core were recorded in the month of November. The inflows stood at Rs 23,428 crore last month. The category that saw the most inflow was the Index category with inflows of Rs 4,342.8 crore.
New Fund Offerings
Inflows from new fund offers have accounted for Rs 4,052 crore this month. Passive fund category saw the most number of NFO launches. The inflows for the month of November brought more than 8.6% of inflows into actively managed equity.
NFOs have brought Rs 6,078-crore inflow into the industry last month, with NFOs in the Index funds category accounting for the most number of launches.
