Shriram Finance finalised the sale of its housing finance subsidiary to a Warburg Pincus affiliate for Rs 3,929 crore. Sammaan Capital's board members authorised the fundraising of Rs 2,500 crore via the issue of equity shares, through one or more qualified institutions placements.

Godawari Power & Ispat: The company inked an agreement with GAIL (India) Ltd. for supply of regasified liquefied natural gas for the company's upcoming pellet plant for seven years.
Greaves Cotton: The board gave a nod to the offer for sale of specific equity shares of Greaves Electric Mobility held by the company in the proposed initial public offering.
Sammaan Capital: The firm's board members authorised the fundraising of Rs 2,500 crore via the issue of equity shares through one or more qualified institutions placements. The firm will hold an extraordinary general meeting on Jan. 3, 2025, seeking approval from shareholders of the company.
Vedanta: It has scheduled a meeting on Dec. 16 to consider and approve the fourth interim dividend on equity shares. The record date for determining eligible shareholders is set for Dec. 24.
PC Jeweller: The company plans to issue preferential equity shares totaling Rs 1,509.97 crore to its lenders through a private placement to partially settle outstanding debts. It will allot 5.17 crore shares to consortium lenders under the non-promoter and public category at an issue price of Rs 292 per share.
Strides Pharma: Strides Pharma Science Ltd. announced on Wednesday that OneSource Specialty Pharma Ltd. has completed the allotment of its equity shares to Strides Pharma Science investors.
On Tuesday, OneSource allotted one equity share of Rs 1 each for every two equity shares of Rs 10 held by Strides shareholders as of the record date, Dec. 6, 2024.
Embassy REIT: Embassy Office Parks REIT on Wednesday approved the issuance of listed non-convertible debentures totaling Rs 1,000 crore. The proceeds from the NCD issuance will be utilised to repay existing debt.
Grasim Industries: The Aditya Birla Group company sanctioned the issuance of non-convertible debentures totaling up to Rs 2,000 crore. The NCDs will be offered through a private placement in one or more tranches.
Indian Overseas Bank: The public sector bank received an income tax refund order worth Rs 808 crore for assessment year 2014.
Shriram Finance: It finalised the sale of its housing finance subsidiary to a Warburg Pincus affiliate for Rs 3,929 crore. The company has divested 84.44% of its shareholding on a fully diluted basis.
