Shares of Lloyds Enterprises Ltd. rose on Monday to hit a four-month high. The shares were up over 14%, extending advances for the second straight session.
The shares on Friday closed 2.57% higher after rising 4.23% to Rs 52.29 per share.
The company on Friday offloaded shares worth Rs 129 crore in Lloyds Engineering Works Ltd. a material subsidiary of the company through a block deal. The 2.30% stake offloaded by Lloyds Enterprises was bought by Thriveni Earthmovers Pvt. an investment arm of Balasubramanian Prabhakaran.
Lloyds reported a 55% year-on-year fall in net profit for the fourth quarter of this financial year to Rs 9.4 crore. This is in comparison to Rs 21 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal, according to its stock exchange notification.
Revenue increased by 46.6% year-on-year for the three months ended March, reaching Rs 489 crore. Operating income, or earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation, rose 62.7% year-on-year to Rs 24.8 crore. The Ebitda margin expanded 50 points to 5.1%.
Lloyds Realty has been demonstrating strong performance, the company said in a press release. The company’s various holdings in Lloyds Metals, Lloyds Realty etc. have also been performing significantly well, it added.
The board of directors also recommended a final dividend of Rs 0.10 paisa per share for the financial year 2025.
Lloyds Enterprises Share Rise
Shares of Lloyds Enterprises rose as much as 14.46% to Rs 58.90 apiece, the highest level since Jan. 24. It pared gains to trade 10.86% higher at Rs 57.05 apiece, as of 11:46 a.m. This compares to a 0.51% advance in the NSE Nifty 50.
The stock has risen 5% since its listing last year and 15.38% year-to-date. Total traded volume so far in the day stood at 4.7 times its 30-day average. The relative strength index was at 27.25.
