Three Blackrock affiliates acquired stake worth Rs 304 crore in Swan Energy Ltd. through open market transactions on Monday. Two foreign investors were among the sellers.
2I Capital PCC and Dovetail India Fund sold 15 lakh shares and 12 lakh shares, respectively, at Rs 666.2 per share, according to NSE block deal data. Eos Multi-strategy Fund Aiflnp V.C.I.C. sold 15 lakh shares, representing 0.47% stake, at Rs 666.2 per share. Paulomi Ketan Doshi offloaded 1.8 lakh shares, while Epitome Trading and Investments sold 1.76 lakh shares at Rs 692.6 apiece.
As of March, 2I Capital PCC held a total of 1.90% stake and Dovetail India Fund Class 5 Shares held 1.39% stake in the company.
On the other hand, Blackrock Emerging Frontiers Master Fund Ltd. bought 24.58 lakh shares at Rs 668.27 per share. Blackrock Global Funds India Fund and Blackrock Strategic Funds-Blackrock Asia Pacific Absolute Return Fund acquired 0.58% and 0.08% stake, respectively.
Shares of Swan Energy closed 5% higher at Rs 692.60 apiece, as compared to a 0.01% decline in the NSE Nifty 50.
