Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. approved a final dividend of Rs 13 per equity share for financial year 2024. Accordingly, the state-owned company will distribute Rs 869.4 crore to shareholders via dividend.
The dividend will be paid within 30 days from the date of the annual general meeting after getting shareholders' approval, according to an exchange filing on Wednesday. The record date for payment of the final dividend has been set for Aug. 21.
The company issued an interim dividend of Rs 22 in February this year and a final dividend of Rs 15 for fiscal 2023.
Hindustan Aeronautics recorded its highest-ever revenue from operations exceeding Rs 29,810 crore in financial year 2024 and registered a double-digit growth of around 11%.
As of March 31, the state-run defence company's order book stood in excess of Rs 94,000 crore, with additional major orders expected. The company has maintained its growth momentum and improved performance, it said.
Shares of HAL were trading 1.43% lower at Rs 5291.75 apiece on the NSE, as compared to a 0.68% advance in the benchmark Nifty at 3:05 p.m.
