Air India has increased flights to Bangkok, Colombo and Kathmandu to meet increased demand from passengers, according to an exchange filing on Thursday.
The airline will add a sixth daily flight between Delhi and Kathmandu, increasing frequency from 35 times a week to 42 times a week.
It is set to add a second daily flight from Delhi to Colombo, and double the frequency on the route from seven times a week to 14 fourteen times a week.
A third daily flight between Mumbai and Bangkok, will see its frequency increasing from 13 times a week to 18 times a week.
All these changes will be effective from Saturday.
Air India will also add over 7,000 seats to complement their expansion.
These news flights will be operated by Air India's narrowbody aircraft in the three-class cabin configuration, which includes premium economy class.
"Air India’s flights to Colombo, Kathmandu, and Bangkok provide seamless one-stop connectivity to and from destinations in North America, Europe, and the Far East," the press release said.

With these new flight routes, the company will operate 42 flights a week to Kathmandu, 28 flights a week to Colombo, and 46 flights a week to Bangkok.
