Adani Green Energy Ltd. has incorporated a new wholly-owned subsidiary, Adani Green Energy Sixty Eight Ltd. or AGE68L, taking a step towards expansion in its renewable energy portfolio.
The new subsidiary was established on Dec. 28, 2024, under the ownership of Adani Renewable Energy Holding Nine Ltd., which is itself a fully owned arm of Adani Green Energy.
AGE68L, with an authorised and paid-up capital of Rs 1,00,000 each, has been set up with the objective of generating, developing, and distributing power using renewable energy sources such as wind, solar, and other green energy alternatives.
While the entity is still in its early stages and has yet to begin its business operations, it is expected to play a role in Adani Green Energy's broader strategy to bolster its presence in the renewable energy sector.
The company has no current turnover, and no acquisition-related regulatory approvals or transactions were involved in the incorporation of AGE68L. The subsidiary is registered with the Registrar of Companies in Gujarat, Ahmedabad.
This move aligns with Adani Green Energy's ongoing efforts to enhance its renewable energy capabilities and diversify its operations within the sustainable power sector. With AGE68L, the company aims to further its commitment to cleaner energy solutions and contribute to India's growing renewable energy market.
