Tata Harrier.ev Ex-Showroom Price Revealed; Bookings To Commence From July 2

Tata Motors' Harrier.ev four-wheeler sport utility vehicle will have it ex-showroom prices starting from Rs 21.49 lakh, according to the company. Bookings for the vehicle will open from July 2 onwards with an option to 'register interest' at the company's website.

The SUV is notable for its 'next-gen terrain adaptability', the company said.

The car has a 'quad wheel drive' dual motor setup that can achieve a high torque of up to 504 Nm. It also has a boost mode that amps up the vehicle's torque and power, having its speed go from 0 kmph to 100 kmph within 6.3 seconds.

The Harrier.ev has six terrain modes which consists of 'normal', 'rock crawl', 'mud ruts', 'snow/grass', 'sand' and 'custom'. It also has a multi-drive mode that comes in 'eco', 'city', 'sport' and 'boost' modes.

The car has independent multi-link rear suspension engineering with frequency-dependent damping which is intended to facilitate precision handling along with comfortable ride quality. This is meant to make driving feel stable irrespective of the surface.

It is powered by a 75 kWh battery pack, which was built for both "range and resilience", the company said in its brochure.

The vehicle has up to 250 km of range in 15 minutes and comes with a 120 kW DC fast charger. The Harrier.ev also has 'regen paddle shifters' for energy recovery and efficiency.

The car also has 't.idal' digital architecture that enables users to use features like 'auto-park assist' which can handle, parallel, perpendicular and angular parking irrespective of the driver being inside the vehicle, using their 'Keyfob' or their phone.

They can also define the parking space for the car to park itself in.

It also has a 'summon mode' which can bring the SUV to the user with a single tap from them.
