Raja Shivaji Box Office Collection Day 4: Riteish Deshmukh's Film Sees Weekday Slow Down — Mints This Amount

Riteish Deshmukh's historical action drama Raja Shivaji continued its theatrical run on the first Monday after a strong opening weekend. The film witnessed the usual Monday dip but maintained decent occupancy, particularly in its original language.

As per early estimates from Sacnilk, on its first Monday (Day 4), the film added a modest Rs 1.26 crore from 2,427 shows. The film has now accumulated a total of Rs 35.16 crore in India net, with India gross collections standing at Rs 41.83 crore.

Language-Wise Breakdown

The film's driving force lies in Maharashtra, the original Marathi version. The film collected Rs 0.94 crore in Marathi across 815 shows and reported an overall occupancy of about 33.0% so far.

Meanwhile, the Hindi version earned Rs 0.32 crore from 1,612 shows, but reported a low occupancy of only 9.0%.

Overall Occupancy - Day 4

  • Marathi (2D): The Marathi version recorded an overall occupancy of 12.17%. The morning shows saw a low rate at 12.17%, while the afternoon led with 39.83%. The evening and night shows are yet to commence, which can change the overall data.
  • Hindi (2D): The Hindi version recorded low occupancy in the morning, with only 5.31%. The afternoon shows rose to 10.85%.

Region-Wise Performance

  • Marathi (2D): Pune led with a strong 26% occupancy from 60 shows, followed by Nashik at 27% from 6 shows. Mumbai recorded a decent 10% occupancy from 158 shows. Most other centres, like Kolhapur and Aurangabad, reported single-digit occupancy rates.
  • Hindi (2D): Pune recorded the highest occupancy at 20% from 12 shows, followed by Hyderabad at 10% (40 shows). Mumbai saw 5% occupancy from 20 shows, while NCR had the highest number of shows (93) but only 4% occupancy.

Box Office Journey

The historical drama opened with solid figures of Rs 11.35 crore on Day 1, marking a strong presence in the Marathi industry. The first Saturday recorded Rs 10.55 crore across 6,275 shows. The first Sunday witnessed about a 13% jump and accumulated Rs 12.00 crore across 5,771 shows.
