Poco F7 To Launch In India Next Month? Here’s What We Know

The mid-range smartphone segment in India is set to see some action with the Poco F7 expected to hit the market soon. The device has reportedly been listed on the Bureau of Indian Standards website, hinting at a potential launch in the Indian market next month.

According to a report by XpertPick, the unannounced Poco F7 has appeared on the BIS website with the model number 25053PC47I. A screenshot of the listing included in the report shows that the phone received certification on April 7. The “2505” in the model number indicates a May launch window. However, the listing does not confirm any specifications of the device.

The Xiaomi sub-brand unveiled the Poco F7 and F7 Ultra in select global markets last month.

The upcoming Poco F7 is reportedly a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, which is slated to debut in the Chinese market later this month. The device is likely to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset for top-tier performance. It is expected to feature a glass body with a metal frame.

Poco’s F7 series currently includes the Poco F7 Ultra and Poco F7 Pro, both of which feature a 6.67-inch WQHD+ display. In comparison, the Poco F7 is expected to come with a 6.83-inch flat OLED LTPS screen offering a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

In line with other models in the series, the phone is expected to feature a 50MP main rear camera, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens. It is also likely to come with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Powering the device will be a massive 7500mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging.

The Poco F7 will succeed the Poco F6, which debuted in May last year at a starting price of Rs 29,999. The upcoming Poco F7 is also likely to be unveiled at a similar price tag. An official confirmation, however, is still awaited.
