iPhone SE 4 is in the works and CEO Tim Cook may be in the process of hyping it up by mysteriously tweeting about an Apple launch on Feb. 19, but attention of most fans is still on the iPhone 17 Pro flagship smartphone that is expected to launch during the Fall season. With Apple keeping mum on the matter, speculators have a free run and now, another one has come up with an iPhone 17 Pro leak that shows a virtual transformation of the premium smartphone. The iPhone 17 Pro leak comes from Front Page Tech, a YouTube channel hosted by Jon Prosser.

Apple has stuck with the look and feel of its iPhones for quite a number of years, but increasingly it is tending towards change. Some of these changes are to try something fresh and some dictated by the Vision Pro headset and Apple Intelligence requirements. And now, the latest iPhone 16 Pro leak claims, something new is in the pipeline.
According to this latest iPhone 17 Pro camera leak, the rear of the smartphone where the camera set up is, will be changed in a surprising way. While the current look and feel is as close to perfection as it can get, Apple is reportedly set to change it.
According to the leak, iPhone 17 Pro camera lenses will retain their triangular shape, but the round edged square will be total changed. It will turn into a rectangle, a big one, covering the space edge to edge. Just think of someone taking the current square and then pulling one side edgeways. While the rest of the back retains its simple look with the Apple logo at the centre. The notable part is that the LED, LIDAR scanner and mic are vertically aligned. While that part looks okay, the entire look of the back of the phone is not turning out impressively. According to Prosser, the technological requirements are making it impossible to place the cameras in a different config.
Nevertheless, this is a huge change, and whether it has been done to bring new features is unclear. The transformation may well be justified if there is something new for the users to benefit from.
Apple iPhone 17 Pro will debut during the Fall season, most likely in September 2025.
