However, apart from the price, it does pack all the big specs and features that were expected from the upcoming iPhone. And no, the iPhone 16e is not an affordable smartphone by any stretch of the imagination even if it costs less than the iPhone 16.

In fact, most analysts and the common smartphone buyer was expecting the launch of an affordable smartphone and the series was expected to be a "bigger and faster" SE - iPhone SE 4.

Well, the iPhone 16e is both bigger and smarter (6.1 inch and offers Apple Intelligence), but it has left fans devastated, many of whom had been saving up for months to buy the "affordable" upcoming iPhone.
