Apple Vision Pro On Fire! Bold Move Unleashed To Ignite Interest

Vision Pro revolution imminent, according to Apple! The tech major is all set to unleash Apple Intelligence, a jaw-dropping dedicated app, and an unprecedented guest mode in Apple's relentless pursuit of innovation and to spark renewed interest in this pricey gadget!

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, who credited this information to people with knowledge of the development, Apple is planning to implement these features as part of a software update. These features may be made available in beta for developers as early as this week.

The Vision Pro has not received Apple Intelligence since its launch in October of last year, which has left many wondering why such a high-end device is not receiving this significant update. There have been high hopes that such an update would include fantastic features that will be helpful in giving customers support and useful inputs.

However, according to Gurman, the device will get Apple Intelligence as part of a software update called visionOS 2.4, which may be planned for release as early as April.

What AI features will exactly be rolled out to the Vision Pro is still up in the air. visionOS 2.4 isn’t expected to have major Siri revamps. The Writing Tools capability will reportedly incorporate OpenAI’s ChatGPT though. 

Notably, on iPhones, iPads, and Macs, Apple Intelligence features include AI notification summaries, writing tools, genmoji, updated Siri, Siri + ChatGPT integration, and more.

Gurman added that a brand-new, dedicated app for viewing spatial media, such as 3D photos, spatial films, and panoramic content, will be available for the XR headset. By increasing the Vision Pro’s media capabilities, Apple seeks to increase interest in the device. 

A redesigned guest user mode will reportedly also be included in visionOS 2.4, enabling users to briefly share their headset with other users. Apple thinks that making it simpler for users to share the Vision Pro with friends and family would increase interest in the device. This upgrade will allow users to decide which apps are available during a guest session using an iPhone. Previously, this procedure had to be handled directly on the XR device.

The visionOS 2.4 update will come about a year after the Vision Pro’s release, with Apple finding it challenging to lure users with the expensive $3,500 XR device.
