Unlike the previous edition, IPL 18 will reportedly have opening ceremonies at all 13 venues that are hosting IPL matches.
Bollywood stars including Salman Khan, Varun Dhawan, Katrina Kaif, Triptii Dimri, Ananya Panday, Madhuri Dixit and Janhvi Kapoor are all expected to play a role at some point in time, during the campaign.

IPL 2025 Teams And Format
A total of 10 teams will be playing in the tournament, during which each team will play 14 league matches (7 home and 7 away). Teams in the same group will play each other twice, while each team will also face one team from the opposite group twice.
In the IPL 2025, the teams are divided into two groups. Group A features Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Rajasthan Royals, Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders.
Group B consists of Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Titans, Delhi Capitals, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lucknow Super Giants.
