India Clinch Record Third ICC Champions Trophy Title With Four-Wicket Win Over New Zealand

India secured their third Champions Trophy title with a four-wicket victory over New Zealand in the final in Dubai on Sunday. The team successfully chased down 252 with six balls to spare.

Skipper Rohit Sharma led from the front with a 76-run knock off 83 balls, setting the foundation for the chase. Shreyas Iyer contributed 48 runs from 62 deliveries, while KL Rahul remained unbeaten on 34 from 33 balls to guide India past the target. Hardik Pandya added 18 runs in a brief stay at the crease.

Batting first, New Zealand posted 251 for seven in 50 overs. Daryl Mitchell top-scored with 63 from 101 balls, Michael Bracewell remained unbeaten on 53 from 40 balls, and Rachin Ravindra made 37 off 29 deliveries. Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakaravarthy took two wickets each, conceding 40 and 45 runs, respectively.

India maintained control throughout the tournament, winning the title without losing a match. The team previously won the Champions Trophy in 2002 and 2013. No other team has won the tournament three times.
