International Masters League 2025: The inaugural edition of the International Masters League (IML) began on Saturday, February 22.
The inaugural match saw Sachin Tendulkar's India Masters winning a thriller against Kumar Sangakkara's Sri Lanka Masters. Batting first India Masters put on 222 runs on the board for the loss of four wickets. Sri Lanka Masters looked on course for a victory but failed to capitalise in the last over despite requiring just 9 runs, considering they were scoring at an average of 17 in the previous three overs.
The 2nd T20 saw Australia taking on Brian Lara-led West Indies Masters at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy on February 24. The West Indies team had the better of the Aussies with a comfortable 7-wicket win in a match in which saw over 430 runs scored across two innings and the first hundred of the tournament courtesy of Shane Watson, who scored a rapid 107 off just 52 balls.
Match 3 saw India Masters taking on Eoin Morgan-led England Masters at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy on February 25. This game was one-sided, as India won the match comfortably by 9 wickets with around 50 balls to spare.
Match 4 saw Sri Lanka Masters get the better of South Africa Masters with a comfortable 7-wicket win on February 26.

Each side will face the other five sides once in a round-robin format. The top four teams will then qualify for the semi-finals. The winners of the two semi-finals will then clash in the IML 2025 final on March 16.
