Following the highly anticipated draw on Saturday, FIFA has now officially announced the fixture of the 2026 World Cup, set to be hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.
One of the host nations, Mexico, will open the tournament as they take on South Africa on June 11 at the Mexico City stadium.
Defending champions Argentina kickstart their tournament on June 16, taking on Algeria from Group J.
Runners-up France will also kickstart their campaign on June 16, as they take on Senegal in New York.
Brazil, on the other hand, will start their tournament sooner as they take on Morocco on June 13 while Germany play a day later against Curacao.
As for Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal, they will have to wait until June 17 to start their tournamentt.
The World Cup semifinals July 14 in Dallas and July 15 in Atlanta.
The World Cup final will be held on July 19 in New York, at 3 p.m. Eastern Time - 1:30 a.m. in India.
