The quarterly earnings season has begun and companies will release their financial results for the quarter from October to December 2024 (Q3). Several big companies are scheduled to announce their results during the week starting with IT major Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). TCS' leadership team will address the media in a press conference at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Along with TCS other big firms which are also slated to release their Q3 earnings reports are - Tata Elxsi, GM Breweries, DMart (Avenue Supermart), IREDA, and Brightcom Group. Around 30-odd companies will be gearng up to announce their Q3 financial results during the week ending on Jan. 11.

TCS Quarterly Results
India’s largest IT Services provider Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) reported a 7.65% increase in its revenues on a year-on-year basis at Rs 64,259 crore in the second quarter of FY25. Profit during this period increased 5.05% YoY to Rs 11,955 crore.

Tata Elxsi Quarterly Results
Design and technology services provider Tata Elxsi posted a revenue of Rs 955.1 crore in the second quarter of FY25, marking an increase of 8.3% on a yearly basis. The Profit after tax (PAT) rose 14.7% YoY to Rs 229.4 crore.

DMart Quarterly Results
Avenue Supermart Ltd. reported a 5.8% year-on-year uptick in net profit for the second quarter of this financial year, missing analyst estimates.
The DMart parent recorded a net profit of Rs 659.44 crore for the quarter ended September, compared to Rs 623.35 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. This was below the Rs 812 crore estimate by analysts tracked by Bloomberg.
Revenue increased by 14.4% year-on-year for the three months ended September, reaching Rs 14,444.50 crore
DMart Q2 FY25 Results Highlights (YoY)
Net Profit: Rs 659.44 crore, up 5.8% YoY (estimate: Rs 812 crore)

EBITDA: Rs 1,093.77 crore, up 8.8% YoY
EBITDA Margin: 7.6%, down from 8% last year (estimate: 8.3%)
IREDA Quarterly Results
Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd. (IREDA) reported a net profit of Rs 388 crore during the three months ended September, an increase of 36% from the year-ago period, according to its stock exchange notification. That was, however, lower than the Rs 410 crore that analysts tracked by Bloomberg had estimated.
The company's revenue rose 38% year-on-year to Rs 1,630 crore during the July-September period. The agency's loan sanctions increased to Rs 17,860 crore in the April-September period of fiscal 2025, up 303% from the previous year.
GM Breweries Quarterly Results
GM Breweries Ltd.'s revenue rose marginally to Rs 595.78 crore, while its net profit declined to Rs 21.67 crore in Q2 FY25 on a year-on-year basis.
