ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Q4 Results: Date, Dividend News, Earnings Call Details And More

ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company is among the key companies set to announce its fourth-quarter results this month. The company said that its Board of Directors will meet on April 15 to review and approve the company’s financial results for the quarter and year ending March 31, 2025.

The insurance company is set to announce the financial results for the fourth quarter and the financial year 2024-25 on April 15. In an exchange filing, the company said its Board of Directors will meet on April 15 to consider and approve audited financial results and audited financial statements of the company for the quarter and financial year ending on March 31, 2025

The board will also discuss the recommendation of a dividend, if any, for the financial year 2024-25.

Following the announcement of the financial results, ICICI Lombard will hold an earnings call at 7:30 p.m. on April 15.

In accordance with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, 2015, the trading window for dealing in the company’s securities will remain closed for designated persons of the company and their immediate relatives from April 1 to April 17.

For the quarter ending Dec. 31, 2024, the company reported a 67.9% rise in its net profit to Rs 724.4 crore from Rs 431.5 crore in the same period last year. The company’s gross premium declined 0.3% to Rs 6,214 crore in the December 2024 quarter from Rs 6,230 crore in the same period a year ago. 

The return on average equity (ROAE) was 21.5% in Q3 FY25, compared to 15.3% in Q3 FY24. The combined ratio, which reflects losses and expenses divided by the premium earned, fell to 102.7% from 103.6% a year ago. A lower ratio shows that an insurance company is earning more from premiums compared to the claims it is paying out and other expenses being incurred by it. 

Shares of ICICI Lombard General Insurance Co. have dropped over 6.3% in the past five trading sessions while gaining 2.42% in a month. The stock has declined 18.35% in six months but gained more than 2% in the past year.
